Talks, publications, and projects
My most prevailing philosophical interests currently lie in epistemology, the philosophy of language, and ethics. I'm especially drawn to how these areas overlap and inform one another: how foundational questions about knowledge and meaning can illuminate ethical inquiry, and how ethical considerations, in turn, guide our language use and belief-formation practices. Since coming to Michigan, I've also become interested in the philosophy of action and decision theory.
Most recently, I've been thinking about external-world skepticism, rationality, rule-following (broadly construed), and navigating opacity in both humans and machines. I'm hoping to refine this list as I continue into my second year in Ann Arbor!
